Description

This module defines a “magical” service-learning experience and guides participants to develop high quality service-learning projects with young people. Participants define and view examples of the five stages of service-learning.

Learning Objectives

The learner will:

1. Identify the elements of a “magical” service-learning project.
2. Assess the benefits and deficits of several actual projects.
3. Name five stages of a service-learning project and give examples.
4. Utilize tools and techniques to plan a project.

CEU Credit

Upon successful completion of each module, the learner may request a certificate suitable for a professional development portfolio or as proof of educational clock hours that can be used towards continuing education credit in most states.
